Introducing $GEF: What It Does

$GEF is the native cryptocurrency of the GasTechno ecosystem that has a unique use case. Investors taking part in the initial token sales can redeem the tokens they acquire in exchange for methanol and organic food products produced by GasTechno.

It is built on the Polygon network, the famous layer-2 blockchain present on Ethereum, as a way to allow people to partake in investing in the token without spending hefty money on processing costs.

GasTechno’s innovative Mini-GTL® technology converts gas sources into renewable fuels in a one-step process. This process eliminates the need for preconditioning the natural gas to produce gaseous products and the need for syngas (a catalytic compound combining carbon monoxide and hydrogen) to convert gases into the desired liquid products.

By eliminating the involvement of chemical catalysts, the proprietary solution also reduces the number of steps it takes to obtain liquid renewable fuel products from biomass sources. Doing so enhances the speed at which eco-friendly fuels are created, even at small scales. The process involves creating methanol from renewable sources at the site and transporting it to the Energy Center, where it will be converted into biofuels for various applications.

Economical and Scalable Solution

The GasTechno’s Energy Center setup is small in nature, meaning it can be set virtually anywhere, typically needing a parking-lot-sized space for setting all mechanisms required. Its smaller scale also ensures initial expenses for setting things up are considerably lower than what it incurs for competing organizations.

With multiple revolutionary products from GasTechno, it is entirely possible to scale the Energy Center according to the demands of the site of the gas source. The solution can also be improvised after initial construction should the need arise, which makes the GasTechno project appealing to small and medium-scale stakeholders.

Lower Carbon Intensity (CI) Score

Fuels produced using GasTechno’s specialized technology come with lower carbon intensity (CI) scores than those produced by competing organizations. This means that GasTechno’s renewable fuel production process does not have a higher carbon footprint. In some cases, the project’s products have negative CI scores (carbon-negative state), boosting environmental safety around the production facility and the wider world.

Alongside operating small-scale solutions for maximizing the energy potential of gases from landfills, wastewater treatment plants, biodigester plants, and pipelines, GasTechno’s Energy Center brings new ways to produce renewable fuel for the world.

GasTechno Mini-GTL plants, built within a 45-foot shipping container, convert biomethane (CH4) from sources including landfills and biodigesters directly into methanol (CH₃OH) and ethanol (CH₃CH₂OH) renewable fuel in a single-step. Raw biogas from landfills and biodigesters is first treated to upgrade to high btu biomethane prior to the conversion in GasTechno’s Mini-GTL plants.
Most of the capital will be used to purchase additional development and legal services to expand GasTechno’s Energy Center (started May 2022) and manufacturing operation located in northern Michigan. The remaining capital will be used for the costs of PCAOB audits, financial preparations for the Series C and Series D offerings and its planned NYSE direct listing in 2025.
GasTechno’s patented Mini-GTL® plants are fabricated at GasTechno’s flagship Energy Center that was secured in May 2022, and currently being developed into America’s first demonstration scale facility for the Energy Centers local sale and dispensing of renewable fuels. In the longer term, GasTechno plans to construct Energy Centers at high-traffic strategic locations with Class 8 truck operations nationwide. For this to succeed, GasTechno operates the Mini-GTL plants at its fully owned facility protected by more than thirty patents, trade secrets and trademarks which allows full quality control over its product which offers patent and intellectual property protection. Insurance is in place covering all our patents and protections for litigation.
The ability to economically convert biomethane, a gaseous fuel, into liquid biomethanol, even at remote sites, opens a significant market for utilization of otherwise stranded gas. On the downstream side, existing infrastructure can be used to transport and store methanol. In the United States, over 6 million metric tons of methanol is produced, transported and stored annually.
GasTechno Mini-GTL plants and associated equipment typically fit within a 200-foot x 200-foot area. The integrated plant and equipment are contained in two (2) or more 45-foot shipping containers which can be easily deployed and relocated as needed.
GasTechno Mini-GTL addresses the burgeoning market demand for renewable fuels and helps companies reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to meet increasingly stringent GHG reduction targets, both regulatory and voluntary targets. Rapid demand growth for biomethanol and other low carbon liquid fuels produced from biomethanol is building in the marine, aviation, mining and other high-GHG emitting sectors. Also, on the supply side, the ability to convert stranded gas to renewable liquid fuels unlocks huge upstream gas supply sources for GasTechno.
